female socialization vs pro-trans activism
An observation from my short time on the earth and internet.
I’ve existed here on the internet and in the gender/political sphere for a minute or two, and have noticed a very in-genius way that pro-trans people promote transgenderism. I will start this by defining female gender roles;
We can see this being enforced in recent times with things like the “be kind” movement, which was very obviously aimed at women.
Women are taught from a young age to respect everyone, make yourself small and non-combative, apologize, and act in a way that makes everyone happy without taking any consideration about yourself and how you feel. After all, if you show your emotions too much then everybody will think you’re a b*tch and overdramatic, so why even try?
Pro-trans propaganda acts on this social cognition and sees vulnerable women as a target for manipulation.
“They’ll harm themselves if you don’t support them!”
“TiM’s are just like you, why do you want to hurt their feelings and exclude them?”
“If you don’t date/use their pronouns, you hate them!”
“You can’t question transgenderism, that will make trans people upset and not feel valid!”
“You’re a bio-essensialist, but you can fix that by educating yourself!”
Young women (namely left leaning ones) see this and want to fix their ‘bigotry’, since they don’t want to hate anybody! That would be bad, and everybody is human after all!
This propaganda doesn’t affect men nearly as much, since they were never taught to prioritize what other people think, unless they’re a male in a position of power or something with clear reason and fact. Men can see the bullshit with less push, because all they see is whining and complaining. Men have been taught to see this as a sign of weakness, therefore it shouldn’t be taken seriously, and sometimes should even be mocked.
Meanwhile women on the other hand feel that it is their job to console and protect those who are whining/complaining, because something must clearly be injusticing them, therefore having a good reason behind it. Otherwise, why would they be in such a fit? Why would they be demanding so much attention?
It takes a bit of unraveling of the female socialization that has been shoved down your throat to see it how men do; they’re complainers, biology and sex are real and unchangeable, and demanding that it not be has no backing. They demand attention because they want to escape from reality and the harsh binaries of the sexes and how society treats them. Not because biology can be changed, but rather how the mindset of those around them can. It’s a bandaid solution to a gunshot wound that society has created, and they want the easy way out.
Sisters and brothers, make room for yourself. Don’t bend down to lunatics because of what society says for you to do. They don’t deserve your tip-toeing.
